Police: A Sleepover at iRobot and Persistent Neighbors

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, Oct. 13

1:29 a.m.- Police received a call reporting the traffic lights at the corner of Great Road and Shawsheen Road were not cycling properly.

6:43 a.m.- An employee at iRobot at 16 Crosby Drive reported there was a person sleeping in a van in the parking lot. Responding officers spoke with the individual who said he would relocate.

9:14 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department with a dog he found on South Road. The animal control officer checked the dog for a microchip to no avail. The individual agreed to hold onto the dog until the owner comes forward.

1:47 p.m.- A caller reported a horse had defecated in front of 14 Putnam Road.

11:50 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Marion Road reporting his neighbor kept knocking at his door after he had advised the neighbor to go home. Police responded and advised the individual to stay away from his neighbor's house.

Sunday, Oct. 14

1:14 a.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Railroad Avenue reporting a resident of the Edinburgh Center was outside screaming and creating a disturbance. Responding officers checked the area but did not find the individual.

11:19 a.m.- A caller reported an individual was stuck inside the elevator at the First Parish Church. Officers were dispatched, but the individual was able to get out of the elevator prior to their arrival. 

3:05 p.m.- An individual came into the police department to report a phone they had found on the ground in front of BPD. An officer reported he found the owner of the phone at the playground across the street from BPD.

4:34 p.m.- A caller reported she saw three small cats, possibly kittens, on the side of the road in front of 213 Burlington Road. An officer responded and reported he was unable to locate the cats.
