Police Log: A BB Gun and Sewage Overflow

Sunday, April 21

12:09 a.m.- TheΒ Bedford Police DepartmentΒ received a call reporting a one car crash near 37 Page Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was unoccupied, but the parents of the operator were able to contact him and transport him back to the scene. There were no injuries.Β

2:26 a.m.- Police received a call from an employee at theΒ DoubleTree HotelΒ reporting a large group at the hotel causing a disturbance. The responding officers reported they assited hotel staff in maintaining order with the group.Β 

3:09 a.m.- Police received an anonymous call reporting a suspicious red sedan circling the Bedford Motel. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.Β

12:29 p.m.- A caller reported water was overflowing from a manhole near 70 Elm Street and there was the foul odor of sewage. The Sewer Divison was notified.Β 

2:43 p.m.- A caller reported a male shooting a BB gun in the front yard at 431 North Road. The responding officer reported the individual was told to shoot the gun in his backyard.Β 

5:57 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of 11 Curve Street requesting an officer assist in removing her husband from the property. The caller said there was no argument, but her husband would just not leave. The responding officer reported he spoke with the husband who said he had not been asked to leave. He ended up leaving the house willingly.Β
