Police: Loud Music and Naps in the Cemetery
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Oct. 21
9:06 a.m.- A Billerica resident reported a vehicle being operated erratically on Concord Road heading from Billerica into Bedford. The caller reported the operator of the vehicle, a grey sedan with Virginia plates, was tailgating, swerving back and forth and almost hit a pedestrian. He last saw the vehicle on North Road. Officers were dispatched but could not locate the vehicle.
11:25 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to report two women sitting on the curb outside The Great Wall who appeared to be under the influence of something. Officers were dispatched and spoke with the two individuals who were resident of Great Road and had walked down to the Great Wall.

1:50 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a group of five youths blaring music at Shawsheen Cemetery. Officers responded and spoke with the group, who said they were visiting a grave. They were advised their music was too loud and to pick up any trash.
3:55 p.m.- BPD received a report of an individual laying on the ground at Shawsheen Cemetery. Officers responded, woke the individual and sent them on their way.

Monday, Oct. 22
7:59 a.m.- Police received a request for help from an individual locked out of their car at Bedford Town Center. The responding officer helped the owner of the vehicle gain access to their car.Â
5:59 p.m.- Police received a call reporting an elderly man in the middle of South Road with a walker. An officer responded and reported the man had moved to the sidewalk and did not request any assistance.
7:13 p.m.- A resident of Marion Road reported an alarm repeatedly sounding, possibly the carbon monoxide detector. Officers responded and reported there were no readings indicating a carbon monoxide leak. The resident was advised it could have been a faulty detector and to contact the landlord.
10:07 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a resident of Bedford Village was overdue in returning home. Another caller reported a person matching the description of the missing person walking on Springs Road. An officer transported the individual back to Bedford Village.
