Police: Suspicious Photographers and an Assault
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 26
8:29 a.m.- An employee of Millipore reported his car was vandalized in the lot while he was at work on Wednesday. He reported Millipore security had video evidence of the vandal.Â
12:24 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a disabled motor vehicle on Great Road at Ashby Road.The individual operating the vehicle reported they had notified AAA.

6:14 p.m.- A resident of Genetti Circle called BPD to report a domestic disturbance.
7:36 p.m.- Police recieved a call reporting an outside fire at the corner of Neillian Street and Evergreen Avenue. The responding officer reported it was a controlled outdoor cooking fire.

9:51 p.m.- Two officers observed a lot of lights and a generator running at Page Field. The officers reported back the equipment was being used by a group of college students who were filming a movie.
Saturday, Oct. 27
9:21 a.m.- Police received a call reporting the screen to the front door at a Summer Street residence appeared to be cut and there was a purse on the front steps. Police responded and spoke with a resident who reported everything was in order.
10:40 a.m.- The General Manager of the Briarwood Resort requested police check the well being of an eldery resident of Taylor Pond Lane. The elderly woman was expected to attend the Briarwood Resort annual board meeting earlier in October, and she had not answered her phone or responded to a registered letter. An officer made contact with the woman's son, who reported she was in the hospital.
2:37 p.m.- A resident of South Road called BPD to report a suspicious individual in a silver hatchback car who had driven by her house and slowed down to take photos of the trees in her yard and her neighbor's yard.
9:15 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Buehler Road reporting someone walking across their lawn. The caller reported they were home alone and would appreciate police checking the area. Officers responded and reported the residence was backed up against the bike path, and the caller could have seen people walking across the yard from the bike path with flashflights.
10:41 p.m.- BPD received a call reporting a domestic assault and battery in progress at the Bedford Plaza Hotel. Officers responded and arrested Edward Martinez for domestic assault and battery.Â
