Selectmen Approve Change Order For Wilson Mill Dam Project

The Selectmen approved outstanding funds owed to the contractor for the Wilson Mill Dam Project on Nov. 5, bringing the project closer to completion.

The Board of Selectmen voted 5-0-0 to change the order to complete payment to New England Infrstructure Inc., the contractor working on the Wilson Mill Dam Replacement Project.

The original bid for the project was $911,740, but when the Selectmen signed the agreement in February, it was stated that due to a shortfall of funds, an initial payment of $840,200 would be made to the contractor, with a balance of $71,540 to be awarded contingent upon a Town Meeting vote in March.
