5 Things: Town Meeting At The Chenery, Roadwork Reaches Lewis Road
Events occurring in Belmont on Monday, June 3.

1. When you are heading to attend the continuation of Belmont's annual Town Meeting tonight at 7 p.m., remember it will be held at the Chenery Middle School, not the usual location of the Belmont High School. As many have pointed out, at least the seats are much nicer than the one's at the High School.
2. State Sen. Will Brownsberger will be holding office hours from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Belmont Public Library's Claflin Room.
3. Roadwork continues along Trapelo Road as the town's contractor Insituform Technologies continues sewer and drain repairs on Lewis Road at Belmont Street and Trapelo beginning at 7 a.m.

4. Minuteman Technical Institute will be holding an open house for adults interested in its postgraduate programs beginning at 7 p.m. at its campus at 758 Marrett Rd. in Lexington. Adult student can apply to the MTI programs to hone their skills in a technical area, retrain for new employment or learn new technical skills. 5. On this day in 1989, Chinese army troops began a sweep of Beijing to crush student-led pro-democracy demonstrations.
