5 Things: Violet the Clown at the Library

1. Heidi Sheputa is 'Violet the Clown' and she brings her zany puppets, magic and clownish comedy for your little one's to the Belmont Public Library's Assembly Room from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

2. The Council on Aging is seeking hosts for Meet Belmont, Tuesday, August 27 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.Talk to people interested in hearing first hand about the Center and the Center's activities. Call 617-993-2970 if you can help.

3. Insituform Technologies will be performing sewer and street drain repair work along Waverley Street, Rutledge Road and Village Hill. And there will be sewer lining work on Claflin and Pleasant streets. Be prepared for the roadway to be narrow in areas.
