Belmont High Baseball Semifinal Game in Lowell Tonight at 7 PM

Junior Brendan Shea will attempt to recapture the pitching magic he conjured up against Beverly High six days ago under the lights tonight in Lowell as he leads his Belmont High School teammates against favorites Danvers High School in the semi-finals of the Division 2 North Sectionals.
The game will start at Alumni Field in Lowell at 7 p.m. Directions are below.

"We're not going to change the way we've been playing all year. We don't play the opponent but the situation," said Belmont's Head Coach Jim Brown.
The semifinals is the farthest Belmont (13-9) has come in the MIAA plays in the past five years. After its 2-0 victory last Friday, Belmont defeated Wayland High School on Tuesday behind a nine-strikeout performance by senior Mike Richardson.

Danvers needed extra-innings to defeat Reading High School, 7-6, in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
Two years ago, Belmont was beat by Danvers, 5-2, in the first-round of the Sectionals.
Directions:
• Take Rt. 2 West to I-95 (Route 128) towards Burlington.
• Take I-95 exit 32A to merge onto US-3 N heading towards Lowell/Nashua N H. for 10 miles.
• On US-3N, take exit 30A to merge onto I-495 N towards Lawrence for 3 miles.
• Take exit 38 to merge onto MA-38 N/Main St. towards Lowell. Continue to follow MA-38 N (going under the highway) for half a mile.
• Turn right onto Village Street. The field is right there (which is also where Stadium Plaza Shopping Center and Memorial Stadium are located.)
