Belmont Police Warn Residents After String Of Break-Ins

Belmont police are looking for suspects after three homes were broken into early Monday morning.

BELMONT, MA — After three homes were broken into in Belmont early Monday morning, police are asking residents to be on high alert.

Police responded to reports of break-ins on Adams Street, Madison Street, and Watson Road all early Monday morning.

According to police, the suspect was seen going through backyards to get from house to house. They say the suspect cut screens to gain access to homes through an open window or an unlocked door.

The suspect is said to be targeting electronics and valuables.

Officers are asking residents to lock their doors and windows while watching out for strangers walking around their house or backyard, and for cars parked in front of their houses that may look suspicious.
