Lone Tree Hill Cleaning on Belmont Earth Day
Today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. come rain or shine.
Lone Tree Hill, the 88 acres of public open space on Belmont Hill, will be given an facelift on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when the Belmont Citizens Forum sponsors an "Earth Day Clean-Up in the Lone Tree Hill" and everyone is invited to participate, rain or shine!
Those taking part will enjoy the land and learn more about it while doing much-needed trash pickup, trail maintenance, pruning, and invasive species removal.
Wear gloves, long sleeves and long pants, bug spray, clippers and some water to protect against potential sensitivities to plants and insects. The Forum will provide trash bags and bins, and arrange for the town to haul away both trash and plant waste.
