One At A Time: Belmont High's Festival of One-Act Plays
Annual short form works to be performed tonight at 7 p.m. at Belmont High School.

The shorter the play, the sweeter the results.
And the small auditorium at Belmont High School will be like a candy shop and the High School's Performing Arts Company presents the 2013 student-directed One-Act Festival.
The four plays, produced by Chris Brindley, include:

• "Will's Women," a comical, feminist perspective on Shakespeare’s female characters and their representation in his works.
• "The Fidelity Farce," a philandering businessman in town for an fling hasn't counted his wife, her sister (with whom he is also having an affair), and another woman from his past showing up.

• "Fixing Fifi," is three short stories that have nothing to do with each other, but they have one thing in common, the script. Each of the scenes has exactly the same lines, but entirely different characters and plot pieces, played by the same actors.
• "Twelfth Night," yes, William Shakespeare's play all in one act.
The festival takes place in the High School's small auditorium tonight, Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m.
