This Weekend in Belmont: Electronic Recycling and Kids Concert
Events happening in Belmont Saturday and Sunday.

• The Butler Elementary School PTA is sponsoring their annual Electronics Recycle Day Fundraiser. in the Butler Elementary School Parking Lot, 90 White St. beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 11. It’s time to “Spring Clean”, so head out to your garages, into the forbidden closets and the damp and scary basements. Accepting cash or checks only. Go here to find out what can be accepted and at what cost. Here's a sample: $15.00 each for large appliances and TVs 27" diagonal or less, $35.00 for microwaves and Laptops.
• Join Matt Heaton for this wonderful children's program as part of the Belmont Public Library's Saturday Music. From 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11. in the Assembly Room.
• Pan Massachusetts Challenge Belmont KIDS RIDE will take place on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 12 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Belmont Hill School
Children between 3 and 12 can come ride their bikes and raise money to fight cancer. One hundred percent of all funds raised go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Become a part of this healthy community activity that teaches kids they can make a difference. Click here to register online.
