Update: One Block of Goden To Be Repaved

Residents will need to find a temporary parking while the street is hot topped.

Goden Street residents who live between Concord Avenue and School Street will need to find a temporary location for their cars beginning Monday, Sept. 13,  as the street is repaved.

Newport Construction, the general contractor for the project, is scheduled to perform its work between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The paving is expected to be completed by Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 14.

The street will be closed to all traffic during construction hours and will be passable after 7 p.m.

Goden Street residents will need to move their vehicles from their properties before 7 a.m. and park them in adjacent streets. Homeowners may choose to park their vehicles in abutting neighborhoods the night before and will not be cited for a parking violation.
