Where to Get Your Flu Shot This Weekend In Belmont
It not too late to protect yourself and your family from the flu.

While it would appear that the intensifying influenza outbreak seems to have skipped by Belmont – only nine documented cases in town according to Belmont Health Director Stefan Russakow – the threat of catching the flu remains high.
Just across the town line with 77 resident documented having the influenza while Boston has declared a public health emergency Wednesday, Jan. 9 as instances of the flu were ten times higher than just last year.
Also Wednesday, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported 18 flu-related deaths in the Commonwealth so far this season.

But fear not: according to the Center for Disease Control and Russakow, there is still time to get a flu shot. And with the weekend weather expected to be spring-like – temperatures in the low and mid-50s – it would be a great time to head to Belmont's three pharmacies to get poked.
