UPDATE: Officials Identify Man Killed in Highland Terrace Fire

Beverly, MA - One person died Thursday morning in a two-alarm, Highland Park fire that sent smoke billowing into the sky over Beverly.

The Essex County District Attorney's office confirmed the deceased as Clark Young, 76. Many in Beverly no doubt know his face -- FOX 25 reports Clark was a retired postal worker and a town parking attendant.

Investigators from the state fire marshal's office were on the scene this morning, as fire crews battled the blaze.

The Beverly Fire Department said the fire was at 9 Highland Terrace. It began around 7 a.m.
