1. The Friends of Beverly Animals recently presented Mayor Scanlon with one of their 2013 Calendars, which contains more than 100 photos of pets who were rescued and placed by FOBA, or who belong to local supporters and friends. Calendars are $12 each and can be purchased at Beverly Animal Hospital, Beverly Wild Bird & Pet Supply, Casa de Moda, Marika's, or by emailing bhannable@gmail.com
2. Today is the grand opening of Dr. Jamie Engel's new practice Aligned for Life Chiropractic on Rantoul Street.
