5 Things, Dec. 31: Free MBTA After 8 P.M.

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Tonight all MBTA travel will be free of charge after 8 p.m., in celebration of the new year.

Today from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m., kids can ring in the new year with with silly songs and mesmerizing magic tricks performed by Awesome Robb dressed as Major Holiday and laugh out loud as Lindsay and her Puppet Pals perform comical puppet antics at the Wenham Museum.
