Flooding Shuts Down Children's Room at Library

The Children's Room at the main library and all first-floor meeting rooms remain closed due to weather-related overnight flooding that occurred between Wed., August 15 and Thurs., August 16, 2012. The Winter Street entrance and Winter Street lobby elevator are open, but all first-floor rooms are presently inaccessible.

The status of the Children's Room and first floor meeting rooms for the week of August 26, 2012 is not yet determined. Please call the library for updates before visiting for Children's Room activities or meetings (978-921-6062).

We have a temporary selection of children's books set up on the floor above the Children's Room so people are welcome to bring their families up to browse and check
out books.
