Angie's Album Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's New Artist Ranking
Angie Miller's first album "Weathered" surged to No. 1 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" list this week.

Angie Miller’s first album debuted this week at No. 1 on Billboard’s ranking of Heatseekers - the term used to describe top-selling albums by new or developing acts that have never appeared on the Billboard 100.
The 2012 Beverly High School graduate was a top 3 finalist on American Idol last year. She was welcomed home with a parade and free concert as part of being an “Idol” finalist.
“Weathered” is a six-song album she released independently on Nov. 12. Instead of signing with a major record label, Miller partnered with PledgeMusic to fund the project and “stay true to her artistic vision and bring her fans along for the ride.

“I love being able to say that all of this happened because of my fans,” Miller said in a Thursday announcement that her album was at No. 1 on the Heatseekers list. “How amazing is that? Not many people can say that. I am continuously blown away by how generous, loyal, and supportive they are.”
