Based in Beverly, he’s being recognized nationally for championing inclusion for swimmers with disabilities, from local programs to leading Team USA at major international Para competitions.

• Obituary: Ralph Michael 'Bingy' Luongo, 87 (thereadingpost.com) — Beverly residents may know Ralph Michael “Bingy” Luongo through his son Gregg Luongo and partner Nicole Hendrickson, who live in the city. Ralph, 87, a longtime Wilmington resident with roots in Medford, passed away December 10 surrounded by family. He is remembered for his warmth, humor, love of tennis and golf, and deep devotion to his loved ones.
