Beverly Electronic Recycling Drive To Benefit Music, Performing Arts Programs

Residents are invited to bring their old TVs, computers and other items to the Beverly High parking lot on Saturday morning.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents are invited to clear out those old TVs, computers, appliances and other electronic items for a good cause this weekend with an electronic recycling clinic to benefit Beverly High School music and performing arts programs.

The event is set for 8 a.m. to noon in the Beverly High parking lot.

Items can be recycled for a small fee with proceeds going to the high school programs.

Items that can be recycled include:

$60 — Large, projection TVs

$50 — TVs over 24 inches

$40 — TVs under 24 inches, large appliances, refrigerators, water heaters, freezers

$30 — medium appliances, dishwashers, stoves, washers, dryers

$20 — Grills, small appliances, dorm-room refrigerators, microwaves, PCs, laptops

$10 — toasters, irons, mixers, fax machines, iPads, tables, vaccums

$5 — modems, video games, routers, hard drives, MP3 players
