Beverly Ends With Storm 'Jackpot'

The Nor'easter that blew through Beverly on Wednesday and Thursday dropped more than 6 inches of rain.

More rain fell on Beverly from Wednesday into Thursday than anywhere else in Massachusetts.

The Nor’easter brought strong windwith gusts near 50 miles per hour, but also a lot of rain.

At Beverly Airport, 6.13 inches of rain fell, more than any other location in the state, according to the National Weather Service. In fact, it was more rain than any other location in the country on Thursday.
