Beverly Fire Displaces 30 Residents Of Apartment Building
Fire fighters pulled an unconscious man from the apartment where the fire started.
BEVERLY, MA — About 30 people will be temporarily forced from their homes after a fire caused heavy damage in their Beverly apartment building.
Fire fighters responded to the call at 101 Rantoul Street around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. There, they found the fourth-floor hallway was filled with smoke. Entering the apartment where the fire started, the fire fighters found an unresponsive man in the bedroom.
The man was pulled from the apartment and woken up. "He became alert and was seemingly uninjured," the Beverly fire department said in a Facebook post.

In addition to the smoke and water damage on the fourth floor, there was water damage on the lower floors.
