Beverly Man Accused Of Groping 17-Year-Old Co-Worker

BEVERLY, MA —A Beverly man was ordered to wear a GPS monitorig device as a condition of his release after pleading not guilty to three counts of indecent assault and battery. Flamur Jahaj, of 6 Rantoul Street in Beverly, is accused of trying to grope and kiss a 17-year-old co-worker at the Stop & Shop on Enon Street during their shift on New Year's Eve. Prosecutors had asked Judge Robert Brennan to hold Jahaj because he posed a threat to the girl and others.

According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, the girl agreed to take a coffee break with Jahaj "to be nice." When they returned to the store, Jahaj tried to hug her and told her she was cute and that he loved her. The girl told police she was unsure of what to do and afraid to move away because she thought he might hurt him.
