Beverly Traffic Alert: Rantoul St./Route 1A Project Update

BEVERLY, MA – There will be a lot of work conducted from Wallis Street to Federal Street next week, and more in Gloucester Crossing the following week. Here's what to expect from the Rantoul Street/Route 1A construction:

Week of 6/26-6/30:

• Monday-Friday: Pour sidewalks and driveways in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Monday-Friday: Pave binder in driveways in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Wednesday-Friday: Set light poles in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Monday-Friday: Install light conduit in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets and Gloucester Crossing).
• Monday-Friday: Install curb in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets and Gloucester Crossing).
• Tuesday-Friday: Grade sidewalks and drives in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets and Gloucester Crossing).
• Monday-Thursday: Fine grade and pave base and binder in Phase 7 section (Rantoul Street from Wallis to Pond Street).

Week of 7/3-7/7:

• Monday: Pour sidewalks and driveways in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Monday: Pave binder in driveways in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Monday-Tuesday: Set light poles in Phase 5 section (Wallis to Federal Street).
• Monday-Friday: Install light conduit in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets and Gloucester Crossing).
• Monday-Friday: Grade sidewalks and drives in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets and Gloucester Crossing).
