Beverly Will Get Second Location Of Nonprofit's Popular Cafe

Northeast Arc, which operates Breaking Grounds in downtown Peabody, will open a second location in Beverly.

BEVERLY, MA — Northeast Arc plans to open a second location of its popular Breaking Grounds Cafe at the Beverly YMCA on Essex Street. The Danvers-based nonprofit has operated the original location in downtown Peabody since 2016. Northeast Arc uses the cafe as a way to train people with disabilities for careers in the food service and customer service industries.

The new location is scheduled to open on Dec. 2. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.
