BEVERLY, MA —Parents got an extra Father's Day gift Sunday, as the Beverly Recreation Department announced it would hold its summer programs.

That includes the summer camp programs at Lynch Park, which will start as schedule on June 29, and the Summer Park program, which will start a week late on July 6. "We believe that we can provide an environment that is designed to provide both safety as well as fun for the children with modifications and restrictions," Rec Director Bruce Doig wrote in a letter dated Sunday.

Those restrictions include limiting groups to 10 children, mandatory face coverings, no contact sports and COVID-19 training for staff.
