Cabot Street Excavation and Replacement Begins April 11
At times, access to driveways, businesses, and on-street parking will be affected.

Beverly, MA - Roadway reconstruction and excavation on Cabot Street as part of the Route 1A roadway project will get underway on Monday, April 11.
On that date, the Middlesex Corp. will begin reconstruction at the northerly limits of the project (at the Old Memorial Building) and proceed south toward Herrick Street.
This process will happen incrementally, and at times, access to driveways, businesses, and on-street parking will be affected, according to city officials.

Beverly police will be working with the state transportation and highway departments, as well as with Middlesex, to limit disruptions.
Police will be directing one-way traffic during the day to allow the work to proceed, according to officials. There will also be periodic increases in truck traffic around the work area.

Repaving of the area will begin around May 1.
