Danvers Woman Pleads Guilty To Stealing From Beverly Employer

Jacqueline Whitmarsh, 27, was given a suspended sentence and will pay restitution to Coastal Windows and Exteriors.

DANVERS, MA — A Danvers woman who stole close to $30,000 from Beverly-based Coastal Windows and Exteriors where she worked as an office manager pleaded guilty Wednesday. According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, Jacqueline Whitmarsh, 27, tried to hide the theft in the months-long scheme by deleting transactions in the company's accounting software. Whitmarsh was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail, but all but the 171 days she has already served will be suspended for two years as she pays restitution to Coastal Windows and Exteriors.
