Drug Take-Back Day Coming April 30
The local collection site will be at the North Beverly CVS parking lot.
Beverly, MA -The Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, April 30 and the local take-back site will be at the North Beverly CVS parking lot on Dodge Street.
Take-back sites will be set up throughout communities nationwide to invite local residents to participate and return their unwanted, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal.
Beverly partners have once again joined to make the local Beverly Drug Take Back possible. The location is the North Beverly CVS Parking Lot (19 Dodge St) and the time will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Reducing access to unwanted medications is now a national public health and safety strategy. Many Americans are not aware that medicines in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse. Many studies show that almost half of youth who have misused prescription medications gained first access from medicine cabinets of family or friends.
Beverly joins a wide range of partners from law enforcement to direct service agencies, education, faith, local and state leaders, regional partners and residents to work hand in hand to reduce substance abuse and build healthier communities.

Can't make the April 30th event? Unwanted and/or expired medications can be disposed of year-round at community police stations' medication drop boxes available 24/7, 365 days a year. Beverly's Police Station is located at 191 Cabot Street.
