Everclear Will Have Fans 'Dreaming Of The West Coast' In Beverly
The 1990s alternative and pop punk band will perform at the historic Cabot Theater on March 6.

BEVERLY, MA — A dose of 1990s West Coast nostalgia and alternative rock is coming to the North Shore of Massachusetts next month when Everclear performs on the historic Cabot Theater stage.
The tour is in support of "Live at the Whisky A Go Go" — a celebration of the band's 30-plus-year history with live versions of signature songs "Santa Monica" and "Heroin Girl" along with new tracks, including the single "Sing Away."
Formed in 1991 in Portland, Oregon, lead songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis and the band hit it big nearly immediately with a series of platinum-selling albums and catchy singles in the 1990s, including "Father of Mine" and "Santa Monica."

Alexakis decided to push forward with the Everclear name in the early 2000s after most of the original band members left, releasing two more albums, before helping found the 2012 Summerland Tour that has become an annual grouping of 90s alternative rock bands.
Everclear's music has been described under multiple genres, predominantly alternative rock, and power pop, but also post-grunge, grunge-punk, grunge, and pop rock.
