Free Outdoor Downtown Concert Series Kicks Off Friday
A free summertime outdoor concert series is coming to Ellis Square in Beverly this week.
Free outdoor concerts are coming to public space in downtown Beverly.
Ellis Square - at the intersection of Briscoe, Cabot, Church and Essex streets - will host 12 concerts on Friday evenings this summer.
It gets started on Friday, July 11 with Clay Ventre and the Bond Girls. Food will be available for sale from Hot Dog Jamboree and "Dream Box," an art installation by Greg Orfanos, will be on display.

The concert runs from 7-9 p.m.
Limited seating will be available, so organizers suggest you bring your own chairs.

The concert series will be weekly through Sept. 26. The full lineup of performers is still being finalized, said Beverly Main Streets Executive Director Gin Wallace.
When new acts are added to the schedule, it will be posted on the Main Streets website, Wallace said.
