Here's The Latest on Beverly Downtown Construction
Beat the traffic by checking out where construction is going on this month.

BEVERLY, MA – The next phase of the Route 1A project is starting this week: Skip the traffic and plan out your route. Here's the update from the city on upcoming projects.
- This week, the Middlesex Corporation will be be working on the areas between sidewalks and residents' driveways on Cabot Street from Herrick Street to Gloucester Crossing, regrading and repaving.

- On Rantoul Street in the area of Pleasant Street, workers will install granite curbing, sidewalks, and light pole mounts over the next couple months. The city says some detouring will be necessary at times during this phase.

- Also during the next couple months, the same installations (granite curbing, sidewalks, and light poles) will go in on Elliott Street, in the stretch between Cabot to Rantoul streets. Elliott Street construction is going on this week, and is likely to cause traffic.

- Drainage work will begin on Rantoul Street from Elliott Street to Gloucester Crossing next week. Construction is expected to roughly one month.
