Hookah Sets Off Fire Alarm And More From The Beverly Police Log

Don't put your hookah on a tupperware bin and more from the Beverly Police log.

On Monday, March 6, a hookah melted the tupperware bin it was sitting on and set off the fire alarm on Hilltop Drive around 7:30 p.m. There was no damage to the residence.

John Timothy Reddy, Jr., 39, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct on Thursday, March 9, after police were called to a report of a man on the train being disorderly around 11 p.m.

Bianca Marie Neary, 24, of Beverly, and Sarah J. Palazola, 23, of Beverly, were arrested on charges of disturbing the peace on Friday, March 10, around 5:45 a.m. after a report of neighbors being loud.

Justina Tamika Harden, 24, of Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police responded to a possible car accident on Beckford Street on Sunday around 1 a.m.

Police responded to a report of a man cutting trees with a hacksaw on Cross Lane last Saturday around 6 p.m. Officers informed the man that he could not take wood from the park.

Officers received a call about suspicious activity on Sunday afternoon, and found that a woman had left the Anchor Pub without telling her boyfriend.

A group was advised to lower the volume of their video game playing for the evening after police were called to Pond Street on Monday around midnight for a noise complaint.

Police took a report of a man who had been hit in the arm by a plastic marker attached to a plow on Tuesday evening on Colon Street.
