iPods for Wounded Veterans visits Pleasant Street Apartments

Pleasant Street residents enjoyed Salerno's pizza and while being joined by volunteers from iPods for Wounded Veterans LLC.

On Saturday, May10, Pleasant Street residents enjoyed Salerno's pizza and while being joined by volunteers from iPods for Wounded Veterans LLC. The organization raffled off electronics, military service branch gear, and iPods for Wounded Veterans T-shirts. The highlight wins included laptops for two residents donated by Cornell University, and an Insignia Fire 32-inch LED & HD television donated by Best Buy. Everyone went home with an electronic, whether it was a Kindle Fire, wireless speakers, noise canceling headphones, sound bars, and other great equipment. Residents especially enjoyed sitting and chatting with the volunteers, some of whom served in the same wars as they did.
