Maine Women Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

The following information was submitted by the Beverly Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:

Friday, Dec. 14

  • Police were called to Beverly Commons Drive at 1:34 a.m. on report of loud banging. Police spoke to the person in question, who told them he had knocked over some cans, and would be quieter. 
  • A vehicle was reported stolen from Herrick Street at 7:48 a.m.
  • At 8:46 a.m. police were called to Beverly High School on report of a simple assault. Reports stated a student threw an item at another student. 
  • At 9:31 a.m. police arrested Michael Howard, 18, of 22 Blaine Ave., on warrant charges. 
  • A car break-in was reported on Orchard Street at 10:20 a.m. 
  • Police were called to Kennell Hill Drive at 3:34 p.m. on report of a man in a white van following a child. ll Drive at 3:34 p.m. on report of a man in a white van following a child. 
  • A fight in the street was reported on Elliott Street at 5:01 p.m.
  • At 7:19 p.m. a Richards Road resident discovered his/her house had been broken into. 
  • At 8:55 p.m. police began a 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' patrol, making a total of ten stops, and issuing three citations. 
  • At 10:03 p.m. police were made aware of a break-in in progress at Beverly Commons Drive. Police arrested Gregory Luxton, 42, of 38 Enon St., on charges of breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony. 
  • At 11:19 p.m. police arrested two Maine women. Penny Sellers, 39, of 16 Alice St. in Sanford, ME, was arrested on charges of operating without a license, operating an unregistered vehicle, lights violations, possession of a class a, class b, and two counts of class c drugs. Christina Andrade, 31, was arrested on two warrant charges and being present with heroin.

Saturday, Dec. 15

  • A loud party was reported on School Street at 1:12 a.m.
  • At 1:44 a.m. police were called to Bartlett Street on report of a loud party. When police arrived they found five people eating pizza, not being loud. Police told them to keep their voices down for the rest of the night. 
  • A vehicle was reported broken into on Woodbury Drive at 12:17 p.m.
  • Police were called to Cornell Road at 5:55 p.m. on report of a suspicious man 'walking around staring at houses'. Police spoke to the man, who lives on the street, and he said was just taking a walk. 
  • Suspicious kids were reported on West Street at 11:47 p.m. Police said when they arrived they did not locate them. 

Sunday, Dec. 16

  • Police were called to Elliott Street on report of a fight at 12:05 a.m. Police did not locate anyone fighting. 
  • A stolen vehicle from Beverly was recovered out of town at 9:56 a.m.
  • A possible burglary was reported on Kernwood Avenue at 2:30 p.m.
  • A GPS was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Cedar Street at 4:31 p.m.
  • Police were called to Grant Street at 8:32 p.m. on report of someone throwing an item lit on fire into the hallway.
