Montserrat on-campus summer programs

Creative programs for adult, teens and youth begin in June

Beverly, MA –Montserrat College of Art offers several courses and workshops this summer for youth, teens and adults.

An adult Summer Immersive week-long program runs Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20 offering both day and evening programs.

Courses offered 10 am to 1 pm include Bead Weaving and Embroidery, Drawing into Painting - Toward Abstraction and Writing and the Natural World.
A Fused Glass Class and Alternative Processes in Photography
will be offered from 10 am to 4 pm.
Evening classes from 6-9 pm include Stone Carving, Intaglio Printing and Figure Drawing.

For youth ages 8-15, the college offers STEAM Youth Arts Academy July 7 through Aug. 1. Students are divided by age groups of 8-11 and 12-15, Students may attend our Youth Arts Academy for a full day (9–11am, 11:45am–1:45pm, 2–4pm), or choose a morning class, mid-morning class, and/or afternoon class.

A Pre-College Program for teens will be held July 13-Aug. 2 in which students may live in college housing or commute to Montserrat. This program is for students interested in attending art college and helps develop their admissions portfolios while earning three college credits.
