No Bail For Beverly Homicide Suspect

Bruce Gunn's criminal record stretches back to the 1970s and includes a 20-year federal prison sentence on firearms charges.

BEVERLY, MA —Donald Fogg may have been introduced to the man now accused of killing him by the woman who cleaned his apartment.

A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of Bruce Gunn, 64, Wednesday, hours after he was arrested without incident at his Cabot Street apartment. He is scheduled for a June 1 bail and probable cause hearing. Investigators released few details at Wednesday's hearing as they try to determine if Gunn had any help after the March 13 killing.

But the Salem News reported Thursday Fogg, 50, may have met Gunn a few weeks before he was killed through the woman who cleaned his apartment. Police were called to that apartment around 6 p.m. on March 13 after a report of gunshots, where they found Fogg dead.
