Corinne A. (Barrett) Holt, 67, of Beverly died Sept. 7, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her loving husband at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Gloucester on Oct. 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Robert Barrett and Margaret (Stanwood) Landry. A graduate of the Gloucester High School class of 1965, she went on to receive her B.S. from Salem State College.

Corinne worked at Salem State College for 36 years followed by her employment at the Open Door Food Pantry in Gloucester. Corinne had a radiant smile and a generous heart; she touched the lives of so many people. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
In addition to her husband, Robert “Bob” Holt, she is survived by her stepfather, John Landry of Gloucester; sisters, Gerry Parisi and her husband, John of Davenport, Fla., DeDe Sygowski of Salem, Sue Block and her husband, Hank of Lantana, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Beth, Steven, Rhonda, Tommy, Brenda, Michelle, Melissa, Jason, Theresa and Samantha and many grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. She is also survived by her special friends, Anne Nichols, Leo and Melanie and and Gary and Eddie – “Her Kentucky Boys.” In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her grandparents, Mitt and Ollie Stanwood, her aunt, Jean George, and nephew, Tony Zerilli Jr.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, Sept. 13 in the Trinity Congregational Church, 70 Middle St., Gloucester at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 12 in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester from 5 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Dolliver Memorial Cemetery, West Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, Corinne requested donations please be made to The Open Door Food Pantry, 28 Emerson Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 or The Kaplan Family Hospice House, 75 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
