Obituary: Shawn Sanborn, 38, Dispatch Manager for Boston Chauffeur Company of Beverly

Shawn Sanborn, 38, of Danvers, beloved husband of Erin (Hagan) Sanborn, died unexpectedly Oct. 30, 2014 at his home.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of John and Donna (Moreland) Sanborn. He was raised and educated in Danvers. He graduated from St. Mary of the Annunciation School in Danvers. He continued his education at Danvers High School, graduating in 1995.

Shawn was currently employed with Boston Chauffeur Company of Beverly as a dispatch manager for the past 10 years.

A loving husband, father, son and brother, Shawn’s family was his main focus in life and truly enjoyed spending his time with his beloved son. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends and was a member of a local softball league. He was loved by many and had a caring and warm heart and will be remembered for his exceptional sense of humor, his willingness to help others in their time of need and his devotion to his son. He will be deeply missed.

Shawn is survived by his loving wife Erin (Hagan) Sanborn of Danvers, his 4-year-old son, Colin Sanborn of Danvers, his mother Donna (Moreland) Sanborn, his father, John Sanborn, his brothers, Kevin Sanborn and his wife Erica of Derry, N.H., Christopher Sanborn and his wife Ashley of North Andover and Brian Sanborn of Beverly, his nieces Reilly and Cadence Sanborn and Miranda Sanborn, his mother and father-in-law, Mike and Karen Hagan of Danvers, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Caitlin and Mark Simbajon of Stoneham, his grandparents-in-law, Victor and Louis Hagan of Danvers and many cousins and extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service which will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62) Danvers, Sunday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-3:30 p.m. Burial is private.
