Obituary: William Naylor 79, BHS Grad and Sheet Metal Workers' Union Member

William Naylor 79, of Beverly died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014.

William Naylor 79, beloved husband of Alice (Anderson) Naylor, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 at Beverly Hospital.

Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Felix and Annie (Craib) Naylor. He received his education in the Beverly school system and graduated from Beverly High School.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army.

Mr. Naylor was retired from the Sheet Metal Workers’ Union, Local #17. A lifelong resident of Beverly, he was a member of the Union Club and the Herman A. Spear Post in Beverly.

In addition to his wife with whom he shared 56 years of marriage, he is survived by a son, Robert Naylor of Beverly and many nieces and nephews including Mary Stephenson of Salem and Carol Michaud of Haverhill.

Funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial service will be private.
