John R. Mullarkey of Cabot Street in Beverly was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, and violating the city's knife/weapon ordinance.

Tuesday, March 29
At 12:16 a.m., there was a report of yelling and screaming on McKay Street.
At 8:06 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Cabot and Balch Streets.
At 9:09 a.m., there was a report of a past breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Grover Street.
At 9:41 a.m., a dog was struck by a car on Bridge Street. The dog was taken to Danvers Animal Hospital.
At 2:41 p.m., a fence was reported stolen on Virginia Avenue.
