• Man charged in connection with Route 128 road rage shooting (masslive.com) — A road rage confrontation that began at the Beverly Service Plaza on Route 128 northbound led to gunfire on the highway, though no one was hurt. A Quincy man now faces multiple assault and firearms charges after allegedly shooting at another driver’s vehicle during the incident.
   

• OBITUARY: Ralph Michael Luongo, 87 (wilmingtonapple.com) — A Beverly resident, Gregg Luongo, and his partner Nicole Hendrickson are among the surviving family of Ralph Michael Luongo, who passed away at 87 on December 10. The longtime Massachusetts resident is remembered for his warmth, humor, love of tennis and golf, and deep devotion to family, who plan a private celebration of his life and suggest memorial donations to Minuteman Senior Services.
