The company said it has yet to find a new Danvers location that is a fit for the brand and operation.
DANVERS, MA — A popular breakfast, brunch and casual eatery is closing its Danvers location at the end of the month as it says the search for a new home on the North Shore remains ongoing.
The Friendly Toast said that "mechanical issues within the building" are forcing the closure of the location at 50 Independence Way in Danvers as of Dec. 31.
The company said in a statement that "while we had previously announced plans to relocate within the Danvers community upon the expiration of our lease, and despite our extensive search, The Friendly Toast has not yet identified a new space in the area that meets our operational needs and maintains the experience our customers expect and deserve."
