Person Reported Stripping Near Salem Bridge

The following is an excerpt from the log:
Monday, Aug. 27
- A group smoking marijuana on Grant Street was reported to police at 12:55 p.m.
- A domestic dispute was reported on the sidewalk on Cabot Street at 2:31 p.m. Police searched the area but did not locate the couple in question.
- Police were called to Rantoul and West Dane Street at 5:50 p.m. on report of a suspicious male in boxer shorts and socks. Police did not locate the person in question.
- A bicycle was reported stolen from the backyard of a Stone Street residence at 7:11 p.m.
- Police were called to Mark Road at 9:52 p.m. because the caller stated he heard noises at the front door. Police searched the area but did not locate anyone.
- Police were called to a Beckford Street apartment at 10:27 p.m. on report of a domestic dispute.

- At 1:51 a.m. police were called to an Elliott Street pharmacy on report of a disturbance. Reports stated kids were playing with the button that calls employees to the register. The employee recovered the button from the kids, and they left.
- Two men, possibly drinking alcohol in a vehicle on Cabot Street, were reported to police at 10:45 a.m.
- A neighbor dispute between two 11-year-olds was reported on Cabot Street at 7:03 p.m. Police said their services were not needed.
- Police were called to Wellesley Road on report of a person possibly in a residence's back yard at 10:03 p.m. Police did not locate anyone outside.
- An attempted break-in was reported on Bennett Street at 11:38 p.m. Police said the person stated she saw a downstairs tenant pull on her screen door.
Wednesday, Aug. 29
- Police were dispatched to the Salem-Beverly Bridge at 12:30 a.m. on report of suspicious activity. The caller reported a person was stripping near the bridge. When police arrived the person in question had already left.
- Police were called to the Pickled Onion on report of a bar fight at 12:48 a.m. Police said there was no fight found; the patron had cleared the scene since it was almost closing.
- Police were called to Congress St. at 2:01 a.m. on report of a loud group. The group was spoken to.
- An Amherst Road residence called police at 9:04 a.m. to report that she believed a man had entered her house. Police arrived and searched the area; it was determined that no one had entered the residence.
- A minor was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery at 6:54 p.m.
- A drunk bicyclist was reported on Charnock Street at 11:41 p.m. Police assisted the person to his house.

- A purse was reportedly snatched from a woman on Federal Street at 4:49 a.m.
- An attempted break-in was reported at a Cabot Street business at 11:03 a.m.
- A bicycle was reported stolen on the corner of Pond and Rantoul Street at 12:29 p.m.
