Police, College to Take Action Against Boyles Street Party House

Over 300 students were dispersed from a house party on Boyles Street early Sunday morning.

Beverly, MA - Endicott College students living at a house on Boyles Street have been issued a keeper of a disorderly house letter by Beverly Police after an alleged ongoing issue with large house parties at the residence.

According to police, the parties at 28 Boyles Street have been an issue since the fall.

On Monday, April 4, police issued the letter to the Boyles Street residents following a Saturday night party that spilled into Sunday morning.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of a loud house party at 28 Boyles Street. Police dispersed the party, which had over 300 students at the house.

Upon breaking up the party, police officers reported that a large group of intoxicated students engaged in inappropriate behavior in the neighborhood while returning to campus, tying up patrol units for an extended time.

A copy of the keeper of disorderly house letter was also sent to the company that owns the house and to the dean of students at Endicott College. According to police, the college will be bringing in the students who live on Boyles Street for a conduct review.
