Rantoul Street/1A Construction: Week of April 10
Fewer delays than previous phases, but still areas to avoid on Rantoul Street this week.
BEVERLY, MA – It's still a good idea to avoid Rantoul Street for the foreseeable future, but if you decide to brave it, here's where to expect construction. The level of work varies, but if you see orange cones, here's what's going on:
- Monday - Friday: Excavate sidewalks and drives on Elliott Street.
- Monday -Tuesday: Install drainage Federal Street to Creek Street.
- Tuesday - Friday: Install fire hydrants.
- Monday - Friday: Assemble lights and set on foundations in Phases 2, 3 and 4.
- Monday - Friday: Rebuild Verizon manholes and plate below grade in Phase 5 section.
- Monday - Tuesday: Pulverize roadway in Phase 5 section.
- Wednesday - Friday: Roadway excavation in Phase 5 section.
- Thursday - Friday: Test pit on electric lines at Gloucester Crossing.
