Ryal Side Parade, Activities to Go Ahead Friday
The Fourth of July celebration in the Ryal Side neighborhood includes a parade and family-friendly activities at Obear Park.
All of the Fourth of July events and activities in Ryal Side will go ahead as planned, rain or shine.
That’s according to a post by the Ryal Side Civic Association on its Facebook page.
The fun gets started at 9 a.m. when judging of floats and decorated bikes happens at the corner of Bridge Street and Western Avenue. The parade then kicks off at 10 a.m., headed down Bridge Street to Obear Park.

After the parade, at Obear Park, there will be pony rides, a bouncy house, treasure hunt, old-fashioned races, slush and some animals from Rainforest Reptile Shows.
Hot dogs and drinks will also be for sale.
