Salem, Beverly Closing Coronavirus Quarantine Site For Homeless

The site, which opened in April, served 31 people, none of whom tested positive for the coronavirus.

SALEM, MA — A coronavirus quarantine site that had been operating at the Salem High School field house since early April will close Sunday.

The facility served 31 people, none of whom ended up contracting COVID-19, Salem said in a news release Friday.

The facility was a joint effort by Salem, Beverly, and Lynn. Residents served by Lifebridge, Riverhouse, and the Lynn Shelter Association were located at the facility to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus.
