Two Beverly Students to Join UVM's Honors College
Two Beverly students will be part of the UVM's Honors College this fall.
Two Beverly residents are part of 196 incoming first-year students at the University of Vermont that have joined its Honors College.
Admission to UVM's Honors College is by invitation. The Honors College works with the Office of Admissions to review the academic records of the university's entering class each year and invites top performers to enroll.
Oona King, a mathematics major, and Max Petersen, an undeclared major - both from Beverly - will be part of the Honors College.

Invitation to the Honors College is based on high school academic performance and a commitment to creating a diverse learning community. The college selects students from a variety of academic areas, from the humanities and sciences to environmental studies and education, from nursing and social work to business, in order to enhance this intentionally diverse community of scholars.
